We are a small family-owned working ranch located 25 miles NW of Waco, near Valley Mills, Texas.  We have been working our property for more than 40 years! The Ranch contains over 1600 acres, of which, we have high fenced  approximately 1000 acres.

While providing Trophy White-tailed Deer hunting is our primary objective, we also have hogs and a few exotics. There are 2 private lakes on our property, one is 9 acres in size and the other 40 acres. Both lakes are catch and release and are stocked with native and Florida strain Largemouth Bass (see the new official lake record of 14.6 lbs on Monster Bass page. She was caught March of 2011).  The lake’s ecosystem supports excellent duck hunting as well as abundant populations of birds and wildlife.  We have been high-fenced for 6 years and have some respectable native white-tail

Comfortable  accommodations are available in our Camp House.  The 600 sq.ft. hunters’ quarters, built into our barn/shop, includes bunk beds for 4, a couch, card table, refrigerator, bath, AC and heat and a stainless steel counter and sink for processing  game and other tasks.  Also, there is a BBQ pit and propane stove for cooking. A patio with a built in fire pit is available for campfires (weather conditions permitting) . Additional accommodations are available should they be needed for larger groups.

Our goal is to provide challenging, exciting hunts at an affordable price.

Should non-hunting companions desire to come, Live Oak Creek Ranch is located 8 miles from Clifton, a growing community supporting many well known artists, an award winning winery, several art galleries and specialty and antique stores.

At the ranch we also raise Registered Foundation Bred Quarter Horses. Our mares have bloodlines tracing back to King P 234, Leo, Oklahoma Star and Bert. We have bred them to King and Hollywood Dun it/Shining Spark studs. We have a commercial cattle operation, raise a few Boer goats, several hives of bees and plenty of cedar posts. We also make meade from our honey and wine from the local fruits.
